I, Jatin Rupani, am honoured to serve as the Secretary General for the second edition of X Model United Nations, 2017.
MUN is a unique opportunity for each and everyone of you to become familiar with the processes governing the UN, but more importantly, it will entail you to get direct knowledge and involvement on pressing global aspects. Model United Nation will provide participants with the ideal platform to understand the workings of our world, and allow you to reflect the consequences of the choices we make today which will impact the world we will live in tomorrow.
As MUN conferences blossom into one of the most remarkable extra-curricular activities available to youngsters today, XMUN strives to ensure that the quality of MUN, by encouraging unprecedented levels of informed debate. XMUN is a unique manifesto for delegates if you wish to acquire and/or perfect dexterity on genres such as quizzing and public speaking not only in your early stages of participating in MUN conferences, but also and most importantly, for life. The talent and expertise, and the insights you will gain there, will undoubtedly shape you as the leaders you become tomorrow, in every sphere of society.
As the great thinker, Socrates once quoted, "To Move The World, We Must First Move Ourselves." We, at XMUN, stongly believe in this quote and trying to induce some change towards a better world for the upcoming future generations through sharing immense knowledge through these intense sessions of debate we are having from June 2nd to 4th. This year, the theme for our conference is "Never Settle For Less," through this we can conclude few things - we would never settle for lesser crowd and low quality and you shouldn't settle for lesser expectations from your side. We, the secretariat, hope to reach your epectations and make these days the most useful and memorable days of your life.

I’m Jayanth Reddy, Founder of X Model United Nations. On behalf of everyone at XMUN, it’s my pleasure to welcome you. If you’ve worked with XMUN before then you know that we’re about much more than just providing a quality conference, we are here to impact a change into everyone's life. A big part of our focus is developing quality relationships with our delegates, EB members and OC members. Following the wise words of Confucious, A journey of thousand miles starts with a single step, I have started XMUN to create something which is worth people's memory. If there’s one thing I’ve learned since founding XMUN back in 2015, it’s that a good conference means absolutely nothing without good people standing for it. I am thankful to all the support we have been receiving so far and hope that this continues further.
I take pride to invite you all to the Second Edition of X Model United Nations which is being hosted at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Novotel, Hyderabad from June 2nd to 4th, 2017. The theme we have chosen to follow this year is "Never Settle For Less."
